Like many other troops, Troop 44 typically goes on one camping trip each month. These outings are planned and approved by the Scouts’ Patrol Leaders Council (PLC)

Troop 44 actively participates in Order of the Arrow (OA) gatherings, as well as Council-sponsored events like Camporees, Webelos Woods, Native American Weekends, and more.

Troop 44 takes part in both Summer and Winter Camps, held at our local camp, Wallwood, as well as at exciting destination camps like Woodruff, Daniel Boone, Bert Adams, Summit, and more. All camp selections are made by the Scouts themselves

Troop 44 is known for its exciting trips, including our annual Winter Ski Trip and thrilling High Adventure outings like hiking the Appalachian Trail, whitewater rafting, and BSA High Adventure Bases

Each year, Troop 44 embarks on an unforgettable journey to one of the BSA High Adventure Bases—whether it’s sailing at Sea Base, backpacking through Philmont, canoeing across Northern Tier, or exploring the Summit Bechtel Reserve
